Gloria E. Rardin – CLINTON (HANOVER TWP.)

Gloria E. Rardin, 75, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.), died in the comfort of her home on Monday morning, October 10, 2016, with her husband and sons at her side.

Born June 2, 1941, in Pittsburgh, she was the only child born to the late Earl James and Margaret Mary (Roman) Coulter. A homemaker, Gloria enjoyed being a part of the Red Hat Ladies Group and was formerly employed for numerous years with the Scio China Company. She was also a former Cub Scout Master for Hanover Twp., and was also a former teacher’s aide with South Side School District.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Rardin.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, David Wayne Rardin, whom she wed November 9, 1959; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Becky Rardin, Florida; Darwin and Machele Rardin, Hopewell Twp., and Darrin Rardin, Clinton, and her five grandchildren, Deserai, Nicole, Tabitha, Stevie Ann and Dalton.

Family and friends are welcome to call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, where a service will be held Friday, October 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski, of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church, officiating.

She will be laid to rest in Hopewell Hebron Cemetery.
