Gary L. Frazier – GEORGETOWN (HANOVER TWP.)

Gary L. Frazier, 64, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.), died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2015, at his Georgetown residence.

Born September 16, 1950, in Steubenville, OH, he was a son of Doris E. (Ryan) Frazier of Georgetown and the late Loyd J. Frazier. A steelworker at Weirton Steel, he was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, Hookstown American Legion, the Bethel United Methodist Church, and was a former member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Gary enjoyed farming and his three Corvettes.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by wife of 36 years, Margaret I. (Ross) Frazier; the couple were married September 23, 1978. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Lynn and Brian Shumaker, Center Twp.; his brothers-in-law and their wives, Charles and Tracy McBride, Eldersville, and Boyd and Kellie McBride, Newell, WV, and his sisters-in-law and their husbands, Beverly and Bill McCall, Newell, WV, and Ellen and Al Call, Hookstown.

Family and friends are welcome to call Sunday from 12 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kevin Neal officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wallace Rummel.

He will be laid to rest in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
