Ethel Pauline Plance – GEORGETOWN (HANOVER TOWNSHIP)

Ethel Pauline Plance, 89, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.), died peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday afternoon, December 3, 2014.

Born April 18, 1925, in Fayetteville, WV, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Walter and Mary Ellen (Walker) Robertson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leroy Plance, on April 26, 2012, and a daughter, Patricia Simmons.

Surviving are children and their spouses, Donald and Harriet Plance of Georgetown, James and Susan Plance of Georgetown, Rose Brown of Travelers Rest, SC, David and Romona Plance of Franklin, NY, Richard Plance of Georgetown, Kenneth and Barbara Plance of Indiana, and Dixie and Ronald Tustin of Georgetown; 29 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the Hanover Volunteer Fire Department, Route 18, Hookstown, starting at 2 p.m.

Her cremains will be laid to rest in the Robinson Cemetery, Bulger, PA.
