Dorothy Waddingham – GEORGETOWN (GREENE TWP.)

Dorothy Waddingham, 89, of Georgetown (Greene Twp.), died Thursday afternoon, August 20, 2015, in the comfort of her home, with family at her side.

Born October 7, 1925, in Monaca, she was a daughter of the late David T. and Mary (Kocienda) Rambo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, John M. Waddingham Sr.; a son, John M. Waddingham Jr.; two daughters, Judith Waddingham and Jeanne Pillar; a brother, Daniel Rambo; a sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Howard Bailes, and a sister, Anna Marie Short.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Waddingham and Mark and his wife Sandi Waddingham, all of Georgetown; a daughter-in-law, Penny Waddingham, Ohio; a son-in-law, Robert Pillar, Texas; a brother, Louis and his wife Carolyn Rambo, New York, and a brother-in-law, Blaine Short, New Brighton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome to call Monday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director. Services will be private. Cremation will follow with interment in Hookstown Cemetery.
