Donna Lee Matchett – Georgetown (Greene Twp.)

Donna Lee Matchett, 80 of Georgetown (Greene Twp.) died Thursday evening December 17, 2020, at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born October 15, 1940 in Braddock she was a daughter of the late Milo William & Maxine Edith (Shore) Smith. Along with being a homemaker, Donna had worked as a beautician for many years and was also a caregiver, helping those who couldn’t help themselves. She also attended the Mill Creek EPC of Hookstown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband William S. Matchett on December 9, 2016 and her companion Franklin D. Saunders on June 19, 2020 and a sister Janet May Smith.

Surviving are her daughter Dawn Michelle Matchett of N.C., a sister Linda Fay McLaughlin of Whitehouse, PA.. Two grandchildren Jonathan Michael Falk and his wife Anne Park and Meagan Nichole and her husband Edward Parker. Also, two greatgrandsons Asa Michael & Dean Milo Falk.

During this time her daughter has opted to have a private viewing and a grave side service in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery Georgetown with the Rev. Harper Brady officiating.
