Dolores M. Moore Searight, – Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.)

Dolores M. Moore Searight, 94, of Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.), died Monday evening at Curahealth/Heritage Valley Beaver. Born October 1, 1926, in East Liverpool, Ohio. She was a daughter of the late Mont and Anna (Shay) McCoy. A home maker Dolores was a member of the Service U.P. Church, the South Side Senior Citizens, South Side Historical Association and also enjoyed cooking and baking.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands William Guy Moore and David A. Searight. An infant son, three step sons Kenneth Moore, David Searight and Daniel Searight. A brother Donald McCoy, a brother in law Regis McElhaney. Her late sisters Jean and her late husband Bill Harshbarger, Grace and her late husband John Platt, Sara (Becky) and her late husband Frank Scarbro, Betty and her late husband Bob Brodmerkel, Ruth and her late husband Ed Rowe, an infant sister Beverly Joyce McCoy and a sister in law Mary McCoy.

Surviving are her children and step children, John W. (Karen) Moore of Raccoon TWP., Anna Mae (Joe) Chamberlain of Raccoon TWP., stepsons Richard (Kerry) Searight of Raccoon TWP., and Paul (Janet) Searight of Aliquippa. A brother John R. McCoy of Hanover Twp. and a sister JoAnn McElhaney of Butler. A sister in law Fern McCoy of Spencer, W.V., Grandmother of three, Jason (Jessica) Moore, Nicole (Andy) Colvin and Marco Guerriri, step grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 6, step great grandmother of 8 and great great step grandmother of 7. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where her services will be held Friday at 11 am. Pastor Bob Kern of the Community Bible Church will officiate. Private interment will follow in the John Anderson Memorial Cemetery, Aliquippa.

Due to COVID-19 the family asks that visits be brief, facial coverings required and to practice social distancing.
