Dolly Kay McLaughlin – Georgetown

Dolly Kay McLaughlin, 67, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.), died Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018, at Heritage Valley Sewickley, with family at her side.

Born March 7, 1951, in Steubenville, Ohio, the last surviving child born to the late Leo Wade and Helen (Glass) Tingler, she was a homemaker.  Dolly was Presbyterian by faith and loved going to any beach with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sharon Tingler and two brothers, Billy and Butchie Tingler.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 49 years, Elmer Ray McLaughlin Jr., whom she married May 31, 1969; beloved mother of Leo Ray McLaughlin, Shadyside; Brenda Kay Fisher, Pierpont, Ohio; and Billie Jo Riter, Georgetown; and two grandchildren, Chelsey Fisher and Garrett Riter.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA 15050, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kevin Neal of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
