David Patrick Wilson – Hookstown (Greene Township)

David Patrick Wilson, 87, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died quietly Thursday morning, April 12, 2018, at the Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center, Brighton Twp.

Born June 19, 1930, in Kenova, W.Va., he was the last surviving son born to the late Dave and Tokie (Hensley) Wilson. He was a retired welder with Local 449 in the HVAC industry. He enjoyed spending time with the “guys” at the Center Twp. McDonald’s.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (Fraizer) Wilson, and his brothers, Don, Bob, Timer and Sigel Wilson.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Pamela and Dennis Ott, New Castle; David and Shelly Wilson, Brighton Twp.; John Wilson and his fiancée Michelle Reed, Georgetown; Jacob and Emma Wilson, New York; Jayne and David Pummell, North Carolina, and Rebecca Miller, Hookstown, and an adopted son by heart, Bill Cloughley, Louisiana. He was the grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 11.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will take place at the convenience of the family.
