David G. ‘Skip’ Malcomb – East Liverpool
David G. “Skip” Malcomb, 55, of East Liverpool, died Tuesday evening, July 18, 2017, in UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh, with family at his side.
Born in Aliquippa on December 13, 1961, beloved son of Lonnie (White) Malcomb, Aliquippa, and the late David D. “Buck” Malcomb, who died February 1, 2017. David was a member of Operating Engineers Local 66, most recently working at the Bruce Mansfield Plant, Shippingport. He was a member of the Shippingport Masonic Lodge No. 485 F&AM, and Sons of the Legion No. 952 Hookstown. He also enjoyed farming.
He was the beloved husband of Shelba (Villers) Malcomb, father of Ryan Malcomb, Calcutta; Amanda and her husband, Jake Cramer, Akron; a stepdaughter and her husband, Shawna and Travis Cox, Kentucky; brother of Randy and Tracy Malcomb, Hookstown, and Jeffrey and Dannielle Malcomb, Chester; grandfather of four, numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050 on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services are private. Cremation will follow. Interment will be at a later date.
Memorials, in his name, may be made to the Hillman Cancer Center, Pittsburgh.
