David D. ‘Buck’ Malcomb – HOOKSTOWN

David D. “Buck” Malcomb, 78, of Hookstown, died Wednesday morning, February 1, 2017, in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born November 25, 1938, in Hettie, W.Va., he was the last surviving child born to the late Darius Clark and Lona Zella (Ware) Malcomb. He was a retired steelworker having worked at Crucible Steel.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Dave “Skip” and Shelba Malcomb, Calcutta, Ohio; Randy and Tracy Malcomb, Hookstown; Jeffrey and Dannielle Malcomb, Chester, W.Va.; two stepdaughters, Jessica Sauers, Chester, W.Va.; Alicia Mader, Carnegie; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Cremation will follow. Graveside service will be held at the time of interment in the Green Hill Cemetery, Hettie, W.Va.
