Daniel W. King – GEORGETOWN

Daniel W. King, 91, of Georgetown, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, February 21, 2014, at his Georgetown residence.

Born September 10, 1922, in Amesville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Jesse E. and Edna May (Sanborn) King.  He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and was retired after 38 years of working as a back hoe operator with the Aliquippa Water Authority.

Surviving is his wife, Lois F. King; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Don Bouck of Delaware, Noreen and Jim Pugh of Georgetown and Johnette and Steve Kobaso of Bridgeville.  Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Family and friends are welcome to call in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where his services will be held Tuesday at noon.  The Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church will officiate.

Cremation will follow and burial will take place at a later date.
