Daniel Ray Michael – Georgetown (Hanover Twp.)

Daniel Ray Michael, 72, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.), died Friday afternoon, February 1, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born October 7, 1946, in Glasgow, Pa., he was a son of the late Max and Thelma (Oldfield) Michael. He had worked as a molder at WHEMCO of Midland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Calvin Michael, and two sisters, Patricia Seevers and Kay Lynn Michael.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Grace C. (Wilkinson) Michael, whom he married April 26, 1969; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Sean and Ariane Michael of Georgetown and Rodney Michael of Waynesburg; three brothers, James Michael of East Liverpool, George Michael of Monaca and David Michael of Lisbon; two sisters, Penny Moore of Georgia and Dixie Martz of Lisbon. Also surviving is his granddaughter, Lydia Rose Michael.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050 on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where his services will be held Tuesday at 11 am. The Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
