Charlette M. Swearingen – GEORGETOWN (GREENE TOWNSHIP)
Charlette M. Swearingen, 77, of Georgetown (Greene Twp.), died peacefully Friday morning, June 6, 2014, in the Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, with her family at her side.
She was married to the late John M. Swearingen for 53 years until his passing on January 17, 2010.
Born November 19, 1936, in Clinton, she was the only child born to the late Carl V. and Stella (Zgoda) Hollein. A homemaker, Mrs. Swearingen was a member of the Mill Creek U.P. Church of Hookstown.
Surviving are her three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Barbara Swearingen of Georgetown, John and Renee Swearingen of Tampa, FL, and James and Tammy Swearingen of Quakertown, PA. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Joshua Hatfield, Matthew and his wife Christy Swearingen, Nathan and Sarah Swearingen, and Jacob and Hannah Swearingen, and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Parker and Samson.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Everyone wishing to attend her services can meet at the Mill Creek United Presbyterian Church, 5005 Route 151, Hookstown, PA 15050 on Monday at 11 a.m. Her pastor, the Rev. Nathan Weller, will officiate.
Cremation will take place and interment will follow at a later date.
