Charles Michael Policastro – HOOKSTOWN (GREENE TOWNSHIP)

Charles Michael Policastro, 77, of Hookstown, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, February 26, 2014, in the home that he built with his beloved wife at his side.

Born July 20, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Gerardi) Policastro. He attended New York School of Industrial Arts and was founder and president of Policastro Construction Inc. His creative artistry will live on through his legacy and will be treasured by his family for years to come. His single goal in life was his devotion to and well being of his family.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Rosemarie (Crivaro) Policastro, the couple would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on May 26th. He is also survived by his children and their families: Tony and his wife Dedge Policastro of Hookstown, and their children Kristina (Joe) DiRenzo, Marco, Tenille, Ricco, and Carlo; Michael Policastro of Beaver and his children, John, Gina and Joseph, and daughter Lisa and her husband Sal DePetro and their children Niccolette and Sal, all of New York; a brother, Michael Policastro, in Connecticut, and loving cousins, all descendents of the Gerardi family and loyal loving friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a baby sister, Elizabeth.

Friends and family are welcome to call today only from 4 to 8 p.m. in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA  15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner/Director, where his services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Kevin Neal, of the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, will officiate. He will be laid to rest following services in the Columbiana County Memorial Park, East Liverpool, OH.
