Catherine E. Hineman – FORMERLY OF INDEPENCE TOWNSHIP
Catherine E. Hineman, 97, formerly of Independence Township died Monday morning, February 4, 2013, at Friendship Ridge.
Born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 21, 1916, she was the last surviving child born to the late Paul and Florence (Wilson) Rowe. Mrs. Hineman was a homemaker and a member of the Service Creek Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Hineman; four brothers, Dick, Bob, Bill and Ed Rowe and a sister, Dorothy Scaggs.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, Judy (Jack) Floyd, Monaca; Raymond (Chris) Hineman, Aiken, SC; James (Brunie) Hineman, Apopka, FL and Harry Hineman, Beaver Falls. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the McCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner/Director, today from 2 to 5 p.m. ONLY, where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with her son, The Rev. James Hineman, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Cemetery, Route 151, Aliquippa.
