Carolyn S. Temple – HOOKSTOWN (GREENE TWP.)
Carolyn S. Temple, 64, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.) died Friday afternoon, April 17, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.
Born July 24, 1950 in WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Betty Lambka. A homemaker, she loved cooking and spoiling her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Pleasant Hill Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband of 46 years, James H. Temple, the couple were wed February 7, 1969. Her children and their spouses, Tina and Bruce Freed of New Castle, Todd and Christine Temple of Hookstown and Kenneth Temple of Leetonia, OH. Her siblings and their spouses, George and Nancy Lambka of FL., James and Candy Lambka of Cane, PA., Daniel and Jennifer Lambka of WV, Bobby Lambka of WV, Linda and Thomas Griswold of Windham, OH and Judy and Mike Whaley of FL. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jacob and Jozilyn/Sue Freed, Todd James and Trevor Temple, Austin and Waylon Temple. Also two great-grandchildren, Austin and Helen Freed.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Private family services will be conducted by Rev. Paul Treese. She will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
