Bruce Everett Quade – HANOVER TOWNSHIP

Bruce Everett Quade, 68, of Hanover Township, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning, October 19, 2013, in his Hanover Twp. home.

Born July 12, 1945, in Ames, Iowa, he was the beloved son of Everett Donovan Quade of Apollo and the late Eileen C. (Swan) Quade.  Mr. Quade was retired from US Airways having worked as a mechanic for 38 ½ years.  A member of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church, he was also the sound man and technician for his church and the Trinity Choir and One Voice Music Festival.  He was a member of the Doric Lodge #630 F&AM Sewickley and a member of the IAM Lodge #1976.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Dolores I. (Miller) Quade, the couple were wed October 26, 1968; his daughters and sons-in-law, Sonya Michelle and Heath Milliron of Georgia and Yvonne Elisa and David Ward of Hookstown; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Marshall and Kathy Quade of Michigan; Jay and Evelyn Quade of Apollo and David and Veronica Quade of Hickory; his father-in-law, Lee Miller of N.C.; three grandchildren, Heather, Cassie and Zac and one great-grandson, Christopher.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to call in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA  15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner/Director, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where his services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.  His pastor, the Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church will officiate.

He will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
