Bernice C. Martin – MONACA

Bernice C. Martin, 74, of Monaca, formerly of Hookstown, died Monday evening, April 24, 2017, in the care of the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born February 2, 1943, in Sewickley, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Hirak) Masterson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Masterson.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Jonna and Ken Pearce, Rochester; Jason and Teresa Martin, Hookstown, and Joshua and Jennifer Martin, Center Twp.; a brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Beatrice Masterson, Hopewell Twp., and a sister-in-law, Mary Masterson, Monaca. She was the grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of one.

Cremation will take place with services at a later date.

The MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, is in charge of arrangements.
