Jason Heinlein, 25, of Hookstown (Greene Township), died unexpectedly Sunday, July 21, 2013, at his Hookstown residence.

Born February 19, 1988, in Sewickley, he is the beloved son of Kenneth and Terri (Wolanski) Heinlein of Georgetown; husband of Hillary (Morgan) Heinlein and dear brother of Kyle and his wife Danielle Heinlein of Burgettstown, and Amanda and her husband Michael John Heinlein of Hookstown. His paternal grandparents are Ralph and June Heinlein of Aliquippa and his maternal grandparents are Wanda Wolanski of Hookstown and the late Stephen Wolanski.

Samuel Ramsey – GEORGETOWN

Samuel Ramsey of Georgetown, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 12, 2013.

He was born Aug. 27, 1957, in East Liverpool, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Sherrie (Morris) Ramsey, whom he married Oct. 9, 1981, in Winchester, VA; two daughters, Jennifer Ramsey, Ambridge, PA and Colleen Ramsey, residing at home; a granddaughter, Ava Ramsey-Simmons, Ambridge, PA; his mother, Eva Ramsey, Georgetown, PA and two brothers, Joseph (Sarah) Ramsey, Beaver, and William (Patty) Ramsey, Industry.

Timothy Joshua “T.J.” Ordich – FORMERLY OF BEAVER COUNTY

Timothy Joshua "T.J." Ordich, 16, of Holloman AFB, New Mexico, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, March 27, 2012, at his New Mexico residence.

Born October 20, 1995, in Beaver, he is the cherished son of William Matthew "Chip" Ordich and his fiancée Carrie Brewer of Monaca, and Carrie (Long) and her husband Richard Goodman of New Mexico. He is the beloved grandson of Margaret Long of New Mexico and the late Richard Rodell, and Terry and Melinda Ordich of Shippingport; beloved great-grandson of William "Bud" and Betty Green of Shippingport; dearest brother of Michael Ordich of Monaca, Gage Rodenbach of Imperial, Tyler Brewer of Monaca, Hailey Ray of Imperial, Maylyn Torpey of Burgettstown, Emma Goodman of New Mexico, and Makenzi Brewer of Monaca, and beloved nephew of Joshua Ordich of Shippingport, Lisa and Donny Miller of Arizona, and Jennifer Rice of Columbus, OH. His cousins, Katelyn Mick, Kristen Mick, Dylan Miller and Abigail Ordich, and numerous second cousins, great aunts and great uncles, also survive.

Howard Bailes – GEORGETOWN

Howard Bailes, 79, of Georgetown (Greene Twp.), died Monday morning, March 19, 2012 at Heritage Valley Beaver. 

Born September 19, 1932, in Rochester, he was a son of the later Luther and Marjorie (Morgan) Bailes.  He was a retired steelworker for the former Teledyne (Pittsburgh Steel, Tool and Wire).  He was a very active member of the Free Methodist Church primarily working with the youth.  He was also a retired lay minister and enjoyed farming.  He was always ready to share the Bible with anybody and everybody or to pray with them.

Elsie M. McElhaney – HOOKSTOWN

Elsie M. McElhaney, 95, of Hookstown, died Thursday morning, March 1, 2012, at Fox's Stone Pear Pavilion, Chester, WV.

Born April 2, 1916, in Aliquippa, she was the last surviving child born to the late Earl and Harriet Mae (Hayward) Moore. A homemaker, Mrs. McElhaney was a member of the Mill Creek United Presbyterian Church of Hookstown, and a member of the Women's Association of her church, where she also served as a Sunday school teacher and deacon. She was a 60 plus year member of the Hookstown Grange, a member of the Beaver County Pomona Grange No. 66, and the South Side Senior Citizens group.

Born January 1, 1933, in Hookstown, she was a daughter of the late Avery Graham and Olive May (Reed) Dawson.  A homemaker, Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Bible Missionary Church of Aliquippa.

Born August 8, 1922, in Beverly, OH, she was the last surviving child born to the late Homer and Sylvia (Berry) Campbell. A homemaker, Leona enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing pool.

Patricia M. Berger, 76, of Georgetown (Greene Twp), died Thursday afternoon, January 19, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born May 12, 1935 in Steubenville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Ford and Maebelle (Hanlin) Ralston.  In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Berger was the owner and operator, along with her husband, Myrle, of the Melody Lane Skating Rink of Georgetown.

Frank R. Barr – SHIPPINGPORT

Frank R. Barr, 68, of Shipping-port, died Saturday morning, Jan. 7, 2012, in the  comfort of his home with family by his side.

Born July 26, 1943, in Ambridge, he was the last surviving child born to the late Elizabeth Russell. Mr. Barr had worked as a set up man at the Phoenix Glass Company, in Monaca, and later moved into a management position there.
