Anthony E. Scialabba Jr. – GEORGETOWN (GREENE TOWNSHIP)
Anthony E. Scialabba Jr., 48, of Greene Twp., Georgetown, died Tuesday afternoon, October 8, 2013, in the emergency room of Heritage Valley Beaver, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident earlier that day.
Born June 26, 1965, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Anthony E. Scialabba Sr. and Ruth Ann Barnett Scialabba. A loving husband and devoted father, Anthony worked as an airline mechanic with US Airways. He was a member of the Hookstown American Legion and the American Motorcycle Association.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Sandra J. (McCaffrey) Scialabba, and his beloved children, Ryan A. Scialabba and Alyssa Scialabba, all of Georgetown. He was the brother of Rich Scialabba of North Carolina, Mark Scialabba of Tennessee, Dusty Barnett of Tennessee, Mike Scialabba of Bedford, and Jeanette Terry of Arkansas.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, where services will be held Saturday at noon. He will be laid to rest in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
