Denzil R. Wilson – Hookstown

Denzil R. Wilson, 56, of Hookstown passed unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, May 17, 2021, at Heritage Valley Beaver after a months long illness. Born January 13, 1965, in New Brighton, he was a son of the late Clinton and Barbara (Wright) Wilson. He had worked as a body mechanic in the trucking industry and enjoyed tractor pulls and drag racing. He was also a member of the Beaver Valley Antique Equipment Group.

Surviving is his wife Connie L. (Bishop) Wilson, his children Amanda Wilson of Brynmawr, Pa., Dustin and his wife Amber Wilson of Georgetown and Brittany George and her fiancé Mathew Wilkins of Georgetown. Brother of Dianne Wilson and her companion Jim Zimmer of Whipple, OH. Beloved pappy of Avery and Danica Wilson and Paisley Wilkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David W. ‘Butter’ Wilson on November 3, 2018.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where his service will be held on Friday at 11 am. The Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
